The model presented is an Opel Astra 3.0 "Andros Trophy". According to the seller, this car was driven by Markku Alen (World Rally Champion) and Michel Ferté (former Ligier F1 test driver and 13 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans). It was built in 1994 by Snobeck Racing for Opel Motorsport and has participated in various editions of the Andros Trophy, as well as in various dirt and ice competitions.

The Trophée Andros is a French automobile competition that takes place on ice with real prototypes similar to those used in rallies. Born in 1985 from a common idea between the pilot Max Mamers and the president of the French company Andros Frederic Gervason, the first race took place on January 27, 1990 in Serre Chevalier.

The Andros trophy has brought together many great drivers over the years. Among them are Yvan Muller (who has won the most editions, 10), Alain Prost, Olivier Panis, Markku Alen, Romain Grosjean, Jacques Villeneuve, Ari Vatanen and René Arnoux.

In 1996, Markku Alen in an Opel Astra with Frenchman Eric Hélary won the famous 24 Hours of Chamonix. The car also participated in the "Rallye Ovied 1997" in Spain

Inside and out, the car is in good condition. Thanks to its tubular chassis and Fiber body, the total weight of the vehicle is 950 kg.

It is equipped with a cast iron V6 of 3 liters of displacement mounted in central position and coupled to a sequential gearbox "Xtrack" with 6 speeds. The latter develops a power of 345 hp. The engine is slightly offset to the right to counterbalance the weight of the driver (left). It has an all-wheel drive with self-locking differentials.

The car has its 4 single nut OZ rims in good condition with tires used for the show. Additional rims for use on ice and studded tires are available. It is equipped with 4 driving and steering wheels (adjustable turning radius). The shocks are Ohlins

The seller is a professional located in Italy in Modena (MO) and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with an old passport of the FFSA (Fédération Française du Sport Automobile). The car is sold with many spare parts and for the different settings in competition.
