Presentation
This 1992 Honda CBR 900 from France is a second hand with 19,700 km. The seller indicates that the bike is in very good general condition and that it has benefited from recent and regular maintenance. This bike was prepared in 1992 by Jacques Roca to participate in the 1000 km of Paris in the hands of Philippe Monneret and Bruno Bonhuil. The abundant use of carbon and aluminum, the Marchesini magnesium rims, the Fournalès shock absorber with adjustable pressure and the titanium exhaust silencer allow a weight saving of more than 20 kg compared to an original CBR (the current weight of the machine all full is about 180 kg). The team finished 4th in the Carole race. The bike is in the hands of its current owner since 1994.

Aesthetically, the bike is in very good condition. The paint in its grey and blue color has only very few defects visible in the gallery. The carbon fairings and seals are in good condition, as are the headlights. The seller indicates that this CBR is free of corrosion. He also states that the bike was repainted in grey and blue in 1994 after having been presented in yellow, white and pink in its racing livery. The black imitation seat has no tears or holes but shows very slight wear. The instrumentation and the electrical equipment are working normally.

The engine is a 4-cylinder 893 cc engine developing 128 hp when it leaves the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work normally as well as the 6-speed transmission. The engine currently mounted in the frame is an original Honda CBR 900 engine, replacing the engine prepared by Roca for competition. The engine was installed new in the bike at the end of the competition in 1993. The seller has invoices following the mileage of the bike. Recently, it has benefited from the following expenses:
-Drainage and filter replacement
-Candles
-Checking and adjusting valve clearance
-Carburetor adjustment and synchro
-Cooling system control

The bike has Marchesini magnesium rims in good condition, with tires in very good condition. The bike brakes normally, the brakes have recently been bled. The seller reports no play in the bike. The fork, swingarm and chain are in good condition.

The seller is a private individual located in Boulogne-Billancourt (92) in France and accepts visits during the sale. The motorcycle will be sold with its French registration, documentation, invoices, keys, a press kit about it and additional parts.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.
