Presentation
This 1982 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 of American origin is a 4th hand with 125,000 miles, or approximately 200,000 km. The seller states that the car is in very good overall condition, has a valid MOT and has had recent and regular service. An appraisal report and a CarFax are available in the gallery.

Thanks to the former owner, and old documents, the seller was able to learn about the history of this Porsche, which is summarized below:
- March 1982: Purchase of the vehicle by Ray Murphy in Kansas City - The car has 45 miles on the clock.
- March 1984: Ray finishes paying the credit and receives his new title of circulation.
- October 1987: After 5 years, the car accumulated 13,934 miles and Ray moved to Tulsa Oklahoma. The car remains in his possession until 1999.
- In 1999: the car is bought by Rich Johnson The original 3.0 engine has a problem, and the project emerges to transform the car into a Turbo with wideners. Rich lacks time and the car spends all this period in a storage box.
- In 2007 Rich decided to sell the Porsche and all the accumulated parts to raise funds.
- November 2007: Jeff Cunningham is looking for a Porsche project and buys it from Rich. At this time, the car shows no signs of rust or accident but the paint needs to be redone. The car is complete except for the engine, gearbox, spare tire and tool kit.
- The car is repainted by a professional. The decision is made to remove the bumpers from the rear bumper. The products used for the painting are from Debeer's, and the car receives 3 coats of paint and 5 coats of varnish.
- February 2008: an engine/box assembly is purchased from a 1984 Porsche 911 Targa that had a head-on collision. The donor car has 88,000 miles on the odometer with no guarantee. The engine is functional.
- From 04 to 08/2008 : Jeff Cunningham assembles the car. This includes a new headliner, new body joints, new brakes, new steering rack...
- From 2008 at 100,000 miles to the current seller's 2018 purchase at 121,765 miles: Jeff Cunningham of the Porsche Club of America performs regular maintenance (see documents).

On the outside, the car is in very good condition. The bodywork in its "Indian Red" color has only very few defects visible in the gallery. It has been repainted in 2008 in its original color (see pictures). Plastics and exterior joints are in good condition. The headlights are from 2019. The seller indicates that the chassis of this Porsche is sound, pictures of the undercarriage are available in the gallery.

The interior is in very good condition. The front seats were fully restored in 2019, as were the dash and headliner. The steering wheel is in very good condition. This 911 has the following equipment:
- Electric sunroof.
- Electric windows and mirrors.
- Porsche Classic Touchscreen-Bluetooth-GPS car radio with two USB connectors
- Air conditioning (air conditioning compressor missing)
- Cruise control (not functional)
- Windshield washer jet/headlight washer (not functional)

When it left the factory, the vehicle was equipped with a 3.0 Flat 6. This engine has been replaced in 2008 by a 3.2 type 930/21 coming from a 911 Targa. This engine develops 207hp (US standard) but it is equipped with a FABSPEED decatalyst. The seller has many invoices visible in the gallery. It has benefited among others from the following charges:
- 2012 : clutch & synchros 1st/2nd
- 2018 : routine maintenance (oil/filter)
- 12.2018 : replacement of alternator and battery
- 07.2019 to 122,667 miles: oil/filter maintenance
- 07.2021 to 124.044 miles: oil/filter maintenance + brake fluid bleeding/replacement
- 11.2021 : repair of DME computer and replacement of original cartography
-12.2021 to 124.907 miles: new rear wheel bearings and maintenance of front bearings.
The seller states that the clutch pedal is squeaking, the alternator belt needs to be re-tensioned and that an oil return tube on the left side is leaking. The salesman and the expertise report do not note any oil consumption, puddles or smoke emissions.

The car has its 4 Fuchs rims in very good condition shod with tires in good condition (Michelin pilot sport mounted in 2015 at 119,416 miles). The car brakes normally, the last bleed was in July 2021. The car is equipped with adjustable Koni shocks, front anti-lift bars and Polybronze silentblocks.

The seller is a private individual located in France in Suresnes (92) and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its French registration (collection), invoices, an expertise report, a Carfax, old American documents, its 3 original keys and a binder with original documents/invoices and photo file of the restoration/painting.
