Originally from Switzerland, this Audi TT was completely mechanically overhauled in December 2017 by the current owner, a mechanic by trade who has owned it for 14 years. It is a second hand car. The car currently has 248,000 km, mileage that the seller believes is fair and in line with the overall condition of the car.
On the outside, this German coupe retains its original paint with the exception of the front left fender, which was repainted very recently to correct a deep scratch. The paintwork looks good for its age, but has various marks from use and time in multiple places (visible on the pictures). The front bumper shows some rubbing marks and the front grill has a small break under the emblem. The rear trunk shows some corrosion marks that caused paint blisters. The body alignments are very good and the joints and exterior plastics are in good condition.
Opening the door reveals a blue leather interior with no tears or holes, but showing signs of use such as ribs and discoloration at the rubbing points. The door panels and dashboard are in good condition, showing only minor wear. The three-spoke steering wheel has no tears but is very weathered. The on-board instrumentation is said to work normally, as well as all the equipment, including the optional heated seats. The car radio is the original one with 6 CD changer and Bose audio.
The 4 cylinder 1.8l turbo is original and developed 225 hp when it left the factory. The owner indicates that he has maintained the car properly throughout its life. All fluids and filters are less than 6 months old (including transmission and axle), as well as the spark plugs. The distribution was done at 180,000 km. The flow meter, lambda sensors, ignition coils, and water temperature sensors have been replaced. The turbo hoses have been completely replaced by their Forge equivalent. A stainless steel downpipe made to measure by the recognized Belgian tuner BFR Exhaust was installed. Still in terms of modifications, the car is equipped with a Miltek exhaust system (intermediate and silencer, the original system being also supplied). The engine runs perfectly, with a stable idle and clean revs. The 6-speed manual transmission works normally, and locks up well in all gears.
The car is equipped with its original rims in average cosmetic condition, but not warped. The 4 Continental winter tires currently fitted have less than 1000km. The seller indicates that the car is sound and that there are no defects or abnormal noises to report. The car brakes properly and the upholstery is good.
The technical control was carried out and does not indicate any defect. The seller is a private individual located in France in Chelles (77500) and he accepts visits during the sale.
The car is sold without reserve price.
