This genuine 1968 Lancia Fulvia 1300HF (type 818.340) was purchased in 1996 by its current owner, himself a specialized mechanic with dozens of Lancia Fulvia restorations to his credit. The car is a 3ème French hand. The odometer shows 17,208 km although this mileage cannot be verified.
The bodywork of this Fulvia has never been restored but is in exceptional condition. Only a paint job was done in 1995 in the original Rosso Amarante-Montebello color, with its original yellow and blue stripe referring to the colors of the city of Turin. The bodywork shows no trace of rust, the car having been kept dry throughout its life. The car has its four doors - doors, hood and trunk - in original Peraluman (aluminum alloy) and its thinner sheet metal panels characteristic of the HF versions. All body joints are either new or in excellent condition. The original plexiglass rear window and quarter windows have been replaced by glass elements.

The interior is completely original and beautifully presented. The seats specific to the HF models with their sloping slides have received a restoration of the foams. The car has the Sandro Munari steering wheel and the "10,000 rpm" tachometer, both vintage options. All the electrical equipment is working normally, as well as the on-board instrumentation.

The original engine (type 818.342 with 818.140 cylinder head) has been fully restored and has covered about 3200km since. This V4 of 1298cm3 developed 101hp when it left the factory. An electronic ignition was installed, the only thing that differs from the original configuration. The idle is stable and the revs are straight up to the maximum speed of 8500 rpm. This one has the optional vintage group 4 exhaust manifold, contributing to the fantastic sound of the Italian V4. The radiator and the carburetors have been restored. The car has received the period transformation to a 5 speed gearbox. The engine is currently associated with a custom made 5 speed "track" gearbox, longer than the original gearbox. The original gearbox is provided. The reinforced clutch is new.

The front and rear running gear have been restored (sandblasted and painted with black epoxy paint). The car is notably equipped with SOBEN double-acting shock absorbers made to measure giving it a rigorous and comfortable behavior. Aluminum brake calipers have been installed along with drilled discs. The braking is described as powerful and very durable. The four 13-inch rims are new replicas of the Campagnolo ones of the time. Their 6 inches width allows to accommodate the four new Hankook tires in 185/70R13. The fender flares and fenders are vintage options and are in new condition.
The car is sold with its documentation, original keys, spare keys, and the original HF key ring.
