This M3 is of Japanese origin, its owner having had it imported in 2017. The car has 110,000 km, a mileage certified by JEVIC (official Japanese organization) and consistent the general condition of the car. The car has completed its connecting rod bearing recall, as evidenced by the BMW document (visible in the photos).
Externally, the car is in excellent condition. M3 e36 type mirrors are the only elements that differ from the original. The paint in its Alpinweiss color is original except for the front bumper which has been repainted to correct some gravel impacts. The car has the "Shadow Line" option, including different aesthetic refinements such as black lacquered window strips. The car has the optional xenon headlights, which have a slight tarnish.
Inside, the original black leather has been replaced by a fabric upholstery custom made by the former Japanese owner, and the steering wheel has been draped with alcantara. Another Japanese feature is that the M3 is equipped with the optional Japanese electronic toll box that welcomes you at every start (can be disabled). The cloth upholstery is flawless and the alcantara on the steering wheel is in good condition. The plastics on the center console have scratches, as do the door sills. The rubber covering of the brake pedal is missing. Options include a multi-function sport steering wheel, Harman Kardon hi-fi, and a maple wood finish.
The mechanics are described as working perfectly and, except for the Eisenmann "road" exhaust and a K&N air filter, strictly original. The engine is described as very quiet (see video) and has full power. The SMG gearbox works normally.
The rims have recently been repainted and show no defects. The rear tires are new, and the front ones are half worn. On the damping side, this M3 was equipped with 4 ARC threaded (adjustable) units by the previous owner. The brakes are described as working normally, with no abnormal noise or imbalance.
The car is sold with its original documentation and keys, as well as a blank technical control (see gallery). The seller indicates that he does not have any invoices from the previous Japanese owner, except for the technical control sheets stuck in the original booklet, which suggest that the car has been well taken care of.
The seller is a private individual located in France, in Le Mans (72) and accepts visits.
