This 1982 Volkswagen Golf 1 GTI Oettinger is one of the 1.250 produced by Volkswagen France between 1981 and 1983. This limited series for the French market was distinguished by specific elements such as a BBS body kit, ATS rims and a revised mechanics by the Oettinger tuner. This example is a 4th hand with 93.640km, a mileage justified by the general condition of the car.
On the outside, this Oettinger Golf 1 is in excellent condition. The paint is original and shows very well, showing no noticeable flaws. The owner indicates that only the spare tire tray and the windshield bay seem to have been repainted in the past. The body is also in excellent condition, showing no dents or corrosion. The original Oettinger kit is in excellent condition, showing no breakage. The headlights, seals and exterior plastics are in excellent condition. The car is equipped with a 9 bar pre-series grille but the seller indicates that he has the original 11 bar grille.
The interior is in excellent condition. The original cloth upholstery has no tears or marked sagging. The plastics and interior trim are in excellent condition, with no discoloration, deformation or major scratches. All equipment and instrumentation are said to function normally.
The mechanics are said to be in excellent condition. The 1,588cc 4-cylinder 16S developed 136hp when it left the factory. In this Oettinger configuration, the engine received a specific 16-valve cylinder head with dual camshafts, forged pistons and a revised crankcase. The engine is said to run perfectly, starting well both hot and cold and seems to have full power. The owner indicates that the 3 numbers stamped on the engine correspond to the month and year the car was built. The valve train is less than 5 years old and the oil change is recent. The 5-speed manual transmission is said to work normally.
The car has its 4 original 14 inch ATS wheels in good condition shod with Bridgestone tires in good condition and recent (DOT 2015). The brakes are said to work normally and the linings good.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Sermoyer (01190) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a favorable technical control and its normal French registration.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).

Delivery
