Presentation
This 1965 Ginetta G4 has been driven 450 km since its restoration in 2020. The seller states that the car is in excellent general condition, has a valid collector's Technical Inspection and has benefited from recent expenses. This Ginetta has benefited from a complete restoration 500 hours of bodywork, mechanics and running gear by Mecanic Gallery and Atelier Rufils. The seller indicates that the car is road homologated and registered in France. It's a "Round Tube" version, produced in around 200 examples. Externally, the car is in excellent condition. The blue paintwork shows only one flaw (a 2cm scratch), visible in the gallery. The car has undergone a complete body restoration, including the following operations:
-replacement of the aluminium frame with a thicker, more enveloping structure
-rectification, priming and painting of polyester body panels
Exterior plastics and seals are in good condition, as are the Lucas headlights. Photos of the underpinnings are available in the gallery.

The interior is in excellent condition. The gray upholstery (recently refinished by a saddler) is flawless. The Mountney Classics steering wheel and dashboard are in good condition. Smiths on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment are in normal working order. The seller specifies that the entire wiring harness is new. This car features the following equipment:
-two shell mirrors
-two Brooklands wind-jumpers

The engine is a Ford crossflow 1300cc, 4 cylinders, 5 bearings, wet sump, fed by two Weber 40 carburetors, developing about 100hp. The seller states that the mechanics work normally, as does the 4-speed close-ratio synchronized manual gearbox with right-hand gears. The seller specifies that the mechanics are fully restored. Machining was carried out by Atelier Cordier (pistons, bearings and valves are new), while all reassembly was entrusted to Atelier Rufils. During the restoration, the car received the following equipment:
-aluminum radiator
-new starter
-new alternator
customized stainless-steel exhaust manifold (with stainless-steel flanges)
-Magnaflow silencer
-New clutch kit
-fully reconditioned rigid deck
-a new Facett electric fuel pump
-readjusted ignition

The car has 4 rims in very good condition, fitted with Yokohama tires. The car brakes normally. During the restoration, the running gear and brakes were fully restored:
-spring-damper combinations
2-piston brake discs and calipers (front)
-drums (rear)
-steering knuckles
-hub carrier rotors
-wheel cylinders
-gaskets and hoses

The seller is a professional located in Paray-le-Monial, France, and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its collector's registration document, a collector's technical inspection dated October 2020, invoices and its appraisal dated 2021. The seller undertakes to provide a valid MOT less than 6 months old for the sale.
