This Jaguar was sold new in the Royal-Elysées dealership in Paris, an official Jaguar importer at the time, as evidenced by the original red bar and CPI. Its current owner has owned it for 22 years, used it occasionally and maintained it meticulously. It has been followed for 10 years by the PN Classic garage. The odometer shows 80.479km with little evolution and is supposed to be correct considering the documentation and the history.

On the outside, this Jaguar presents superbly thanks to its paint redone 10 years ago in the original color and its chassis treated against corrosion. Only two small blisters and cracks are visible on the right front fender (picture in the gallery). The wheel arches, rocker panels, floors and gutters of the hood and trunk are rust free. The rest of the body is also rust free except for some very superficial corrosion. The chromes are in perfect condition. The window, trunk and hood seals are new, although the door seals are in poor condition.

The interior is also in excellent condition. The door panels are in new condition with the sole exception of the right rear which shows some cracks on the upper part. The woodwork is very well preserved and shows no cracks. The dashboard trims are also in perfect condition. The upholstery shows some ribs due to use but has no tears or pronounced discoloration. The instrument panel is said to work perfectly. This car is not equipped with power steering, but has a self-locking axle.

Mechanically, this Jaguar has been perfectly followed. The 4.2L 6-cylinder engine was completely rebuilt in 1992, as well as the 4-speed manual gearbox (and overdrive), the clutch, the front axles and the cooling system. In 2008, a new rebuild was done by a Jaguar specialist. The engine has been driven 5.000km since then. Very recently, the battery, alternator, starter and charge regulator were replaced. The carburetors have been adjusted, calipers and brake pads changed. The two fuel tanks and the tires are also new. The seller says that everything works perfectly. He notes however a very slight steering play although it is not mentioned on the technical control (blank).

The car is sold with a very complete documentation dating back to its purchase in the dealership. The seller is a professional located in Saint-Soupplets (77) and he accepts visits during opening hours. The seller also wished to define a reserve price.
