This 1981 Mercedes 380 SL R107 was delivered new in California and has 140,352 miles on the odometer, or approximately 224,560 kilometers. The car has been in Holland since 2018 and has a Dutch registration certificate and a technical inspection valid until June 2021.
Outside, the car is in very good condition. It is in its original Lapis Blue metallic color. The car will be sold with its original hard top which is in the same color as the car. It is also in good condition. Apart from a small dent, there are no notable defects on the body. The soft top is in perfect condition, as well as the 3 rear windows. The seals, chromes and exterior plastics are in good condition. This SL is equipped with the automatic antenna. The seller indicates that the chassis is sound.
The original interior is in good condition. The leather in its Sandbeige color has no notable defects. The carpet is also in good condition. The vehicle has its original Becker Grand Prix radio, electric windows, cruise control, air conditioning and heated rear window. These instruments are said to work.
The mechanics are said to work normally. The 3.8 V8 developed 204 hp when it left the factory. The engine is said to produce no noise. The seller says that the automatic transmission works normally. There are no leaks. The suspensions are said to work well.
The car is equipped with its original "Bottle cap" rims which have just been rechromed. The brakes work well and the Michelin tires are still good.

How the auctions work

At the end of the sale, the highest bid is automatically validated by the seller if it exceeds his reserve price. However, all the offers made remain valid for 2 working days after the end of the sale and can be accepted at any time during this period.

Any retraction implies the payment of the total service, that is to say 6% HT (7,2% TTC) of the amount bid. with a minimum of 330€ TTC.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% (3.6% VAT excluded) of the final price by credit card (minimum 180€ VAT included).
Within 7 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by the third party service Paycar.fr.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
