This 1974 Land Rover Series III 109-inch is believed to be of Belgian origin. The current owner has owned it since December 2017 and has undertaken its restoration until today. The car is registered ancestor in Belgium. The odometer shows 35,500 miles (approx. 56,800 km) although this mileage cannot be verified.

Externally, this Land Rover looks very good. The body has been completely stripped, treated against rust and painted in a matte green color. Thus, there are no particular defects (restoration pictures available in the gallery). The front grill is flawless and the bumpers and headlight surrounds have been painted in black. The windshield contour, the door mouldings and the rear light surrounds are still original and show their original patina. The beige soft top is new. The alignments are in accordance with the standards of the time. The chassis has received an anti-rust treatment.

The interior is in very good condition. The skai upholstery has been reconditioned and the 3 front seats are in excellent condition. The dashboard is original, not cracked, but has traces of use and some scratches, as well as the steering wheel. On the floor and on the door panels, the green paint of the body is visible and testifies of the restoration: no rust. At the rear, the galvanized steel floor is new, the walls have been painted in black and some panels are in original metal color. The car is equipped with its original car radio, but it is not connected to any speaker. All the equipment and the on-board instrumentation are said to work properly.

Mechanically, the seller indicates that everything works normally. The 4-cylinder gasoline engine of 2225 cm3 developed 74 hp when it left the factory and works perfectly. The seller specifies that the cylinders have been checked by disassembling the crankcase and he indicates that the cylinder head has been rebuilt about 3 years ago (rectification and repair of the valve seats). Also, the ignition is new and all the filters and fluids have been drained and replaced recently. The manual gearbox and the transfer case do not emit any abnormal noises although they are noisy from the beginning.

On the ground, the original rims are in excellent condition since they have been repainted. The tires have a good thickness of rubber although they are a bit cracked. The seller mentions that the brakes and the damping have been redone.

The car is sold without technical control, the last one dating from 1996. The seller is a private individual located in Belgium in Beaufays 4052 (near Liège) and accepts visits during the sale.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.
