This Mégane R26.R from June 2009 is one of 450 produced by Renault Sport and is a 2nd hand. Originally from England, the car has been converted to left-hand drive by a Renault Sport specialist, the Garage de l'Abbaye Brix and approved in due form. The car is numbered n°112/230 (English examples) and bears the commercial name CM2H96. The instrumentation, then in miles, has been converted into kilometers by keeping the value of the mileage on the meter. The car has 81,000km, of which about 20,000 have been driven by the current owner since 2015, mainly on the road and some track trips.
On the outside, the car is in good condition. The original paintwork is fine but shows some wear and tear such as stone chips and a few scratches. The carbon hood has been re-varnished and a thermal protection has been installed to protect it. The car has its original decoration in good condition. The owner, for the sake of transparency, indicates that the car has a slight surface crack in the engine deck and gearbox tunnel (see photo in the gallery) which has no impact on the structural integrity. The plastics and exterior seals are in very good condition.
The interior is in good condition although it has undergone reversible transformations. The upholstery and carpeting have been removed but are available and supplied with the car. The car is equipped with the optional roll bar and manual air conditioning although the latter has been removed (also supplied). The Sabelt carbon bucket seats are in very good condition, showing no dents or sagging. The on-board instrumentation is said to work perfectly.
The mechanics are described as being in excellent condition. An engine preparation has been done, increasing the power to 300hp and 400nm (dyno sheet available). The owner indicates that the mapping, done by a Renault Sport specialist, has been thought to privilege reliability and can run on SP98 and SP102. The engine has received, among other things, a Mégane 3 RS turbo, cold spark plugs and a catalyst removal. The car is equipped with the optional titanium exhaust R26.R. The timing and the water pump have been replaced less than 2 years and 20.000km ago. The oil change has 5.000km. Maintenance invoices are available.
The car has its original 4 rims in average condition, showing scratches but no deformation. The front pads as well as the caliper seals were replaced in August 2018, along with the front left bearing.
The car is sold with all its original parts. The seller is a private individual located in France in Longwy (54400) and accepts visits during the sale.

Payment
