This 1977 Mercedes-Benz L206D is of Italian origin and belonged to the Italian road service, explaining its orange color. It has 224.441km, a mileage that cannot be verified. The current owner has done several mechanical works for the sale. This car is "matching numbers" since the engine number corresponds to the chassis number.

On the outside, this Mercedes combi is in average condition. The orange paint of the period, specific to the Italian road system, is well preserved but some body panels show corrosion (detail in the gallery). This is a short flat-bottomed model: the floor is made of wood and the body rests on a tubular chassis. The seller indicates that the latter is free of perforating corrosion and that it has the original tow hook.

The interior, strictly original, is in average condition. The upholstery has some tears while the door panels, headliner, and steering wheel are in good condition. The seller indicates that all the equipment is functional, including the foot operated windshield washer pump. The seller indicates that he has the original jack.

On the mechanical side, the 4-cylinder diesel of 2.2l displacement developed 60hp when it left the factory. The seller has made a repair by replacing the following parts: all the seals, water pump, accessory belt, starter, calorstat, glow plugs, and an oil change with filter has been made. The engine is said to work normally without abnormal noise, the same is true for the manual gearbox. The owner indicates that the exhaust line is missing.

On the ground, this combi has been upgraded and has its 4 original rims in very good condition with 4 new tires. The seller says that the behavior is good and that this L206D brakes perfectly after the replacement of all the braking components. The original spare tire is available.

This L206 D is registered with a normal car registration and is sold with many extra parts including a gearbox, front triangles, a grille, turn signals and headlights.

This van is visible in France in Noureuil (02) and the seller accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work

A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.

Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.

Payment

At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).

Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.

Delivery
