Important update:
After replacing the fuel pump and solving an electrical problem that prevented the injector rail from working, this 75 Turbo Evoluzione now starts on its own as shown in the video below provided by the seller. The sale is therefore extended by 3 days to allow time for bidders to become aware of this change in situation.

Presentation
This Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo Evoluzione of 1987 is one of the 500 examples produced by Alfa Romeo in order to homologate its competition cars in group A and to participate in touring championships. The car is a 2nd hand of French origin. The current owner, a mechanic by profession, has owned it since 1990 and acquired it when it had 30,000km. It now has 69.700km, a mileage justified by the available documentation and the condition of the car. The seller indicates that the car has not been used for more than 10 years (last CT in 2009). The car was driven briefly in 2016 in order to be moved. The car is currently non-running, with the seller indicating that the fuel pump is seized. However, the engine does start and run.

On the outside, the car is in very good condition. Although showing some scratches and chips due to use, the original paint shows well, with no fading or varnish burns. The original decoration is also in good condition. The bodywork shows no deformation, except for two slight dents on the right rear fender. The alignments are very good. The car shows no corrosion, as the car has been stored in a dry place all its life. The seals and exterior plastics are in very good condition. The seller says he has the driver's window deflector (not visible on the pictures). The headlights are in excellent condition.

The interior is in fair condition. The original fabric upholstery is in average condition: the driver's seat is in bad condition, the passenger seat is in average condition and the back seat is in very good condition. The headliner is detached. The interior plastics and trim are in very good condition, showing no discoloration or cracks but some scratches in places. The controls are in good condition, showing only a slight patina. The interior equipment and instrumentation are said to function normally.

The mechanics are said to be in very good condition. The 1762cc 4 cylinder turbo developed 155hp when it left the factory. The engine is running and starts (see video) but the seller says that the fuel supply is not working (fuel pump supposedly seized due to a long period of stop). The car was said to work perfectly during a short use in 2016. The mechanics are all original except for the Sebring exhaust silencer. The Turbo Evoluzione version differed from the other versions by a reinforced cylinder block, a new exhaust manifold and a turbo pressure increased to 0.9 bar. The 5-speed manual transmission is described as working perfectly.

The car is equipped with its 5 original A.Benzoni&C rims in very good condition. The seller provides a 6th rim from another 75 Turbo Evolution, which belonged to his brother at the time. The 2 spare wheels have their original new tires (DOT 1986), while the car is fitted with old tires (DOT 1991), confirming the low mileage. The car is described as running normally, without any abnormal noise. The Turbo Evoluzione version is equipped with a 45% self-locking system (compared to 25% for the other versions) and a larger diameter anti-roll bar.

The seller is a private individual located in France in Vierzon (18100) and accepts visits during the sale. The car has its normal French registration and its original spare keys with remote control box.
The car is sold without reserve price.
