This 1980 BMW 520/6 e12 is a 3rd hand of French origin, the first owner having kept it 35 years and the second less than a year before giving it to the current owner. The car has 180.750km, a mileage justified by the very large documentation available with the car.

On the outside, this e12 is in excellent condition. The original "Resedagrün Metallic" paint shows very well, showing only rare flaws like small chips on the door edges or small scratches. The bodywork shows no dents except for a slight poc on the rear trunk. The car is free of corrosion. Plastics, exterior seals and lights are in very good condition.

The interior is in excellent condition. The original beige velvet upholstery shows no tears or sagging. The carpets are in excellent condition, with no stains or marked wear. The car is equipped with its original working Pioneer cassette radio. The on-board equipment and instrumentation are said to function normally with the exception of the left-hand power mirror, but the seller indicates that a replacement motor is provided.

The 6 cylinder 2.0l "M20B20" with Solex carburetors developed 122hp when it left the factory. The engine is said to be in perfect working condition, starting well both hot and cold, having a stable idle and seeming to have full power. The owner says he uses only SP98 with additive. The 5 speed manual transmission is said to work perfectly, shifting and locking well in all gears.

The car has its 4 aluminium rims and its original spare wheel. The rear Michelin tires are new while the front ones are good (DOT 2009). The brakes are working properly and the linings are good. The car is said to run perfectly without any abnormal noise.

The seller is a private individual located in France in Lyon (69004) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its papers in order. The technical control dated June 2018 and is virgin (minor deficiencies corrected since).
The seller wished to define a reserve price.
