This Porsche 356 from September 1965 is one of the last 356 produced. The car is of American origin. This car is fully "matching numbers", retaining all its original parts and has been renovated by the Porsche 356 restoration and preparation specialist ZS Style 356 in Ferolle (77150). The current seller acquired it 2 years ago and has driven it for about 3,000 km. The car has 69,000 miles on the odometer, although the mileage cannot be verified.

On the outside, this 356 C is entirely original. The bodywork has never been restored but is in a superb state of preservation. Only one paint job has been done in the original color. This one shows no defects except for 3 blisters on the bottom of the passenger door. Rust is totally absent. The jack stands are in perfect condition as well as the transmission tunnel. The battery tray shows no corrosion. The car retains all of its original chrome, hence its slightly pitted appearance. The exterior seals are in excellent condition.

The interior is in excellent condition. The upholstery has been redone according to the original and has no defects. The upholstery, carpets and rubber mats are in new condition. All the interior equipment works perfectly, especially the heater. The neimann is original. The car is equipped with a circuit breaker and a tracer. It also has the gear shift lock, a period option.

The mechanics of this 356 has been completely redone by the specialist ZS Style 356. The 1600cc 4-cylinder flat engine developed 75hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that it seems to have all its power. The engine starts well from cold and hot and holds its idle well. The revs are straight and linear. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts and locks up well in all gears.

The car has its 5 original wheels, all equipped with new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The car has its original valve clips. The brakes have been redone during the renovation at ZS Style 356 and are working perfectly. The shocks are new, and the steering has been revised. The seller states that the car has an excellent and healthy handling.
