Originally from France, this BMW 316i has been completely revised mechanically by the current owner. It is a fourth hand car. It currently has 243,000 km, a mileage that the seller estimates to be fair.
On the outside, this German coupe has kept its original paint. The paint is correct for its age, but it has several cracks (visible on the pictures), the most important one being on the hood and the fender. The two missing rear fender strips are provided, but the clips are broken. It is equipped with original BBS 15" wheels with missing center caps and rubber spoiler. The car is completely in its original configuration with the exception of the short springs and the period dealership piping. The body is free of rust.
Opening the door reveals a gray interior in excellent overall condition. The door panels are like new, the same goes for the seats except for the driver's seat which has the beginning of a hole in the lumbar area (the size of a coin). The floor mats are original and in excellent condition. The dashboard is flawless, and the three-spoke steering wheel shows correctly for its mileage. The on-board instrumentation is said to function normally. This e30 is factory equipped with power steering, power windows and power mirrors. The only interior modification is a modern car radio.
On the mechanical side, the owner indicates that the engine has been completely overhauled last year at 237.000Km. The engine has been completely overhauled last year at 237.000Km. It has a new timing system, a new steering pump, a completely revised cooling system (new hoses, calorstat, water pump and radiator cleaning) as well as a replacement of the filters (oil, air, gasoline), the spark plugs and the accessories belt. The steering rack has also been overhauled with a replacement of all seals. An oil change will be done for the sale. The engine runs perfectly, with a stable idle and a nice linearity in acceleration and recovery. The 5 speed manual gearbox works normally and locks up well in all gears.
When running, the seller indicates that the behavior is in accordance with the standards of the time. The car brakes correctly. The front brake pads and hoses have been replaced, but the wear indicator is still on. The tires are at 30% of wear.
The last technical inspection was in November 2017, and the car has covered 5,000 km since. The vehicle is located in Livry-Gargan (93) and the seller accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included) by credit card.
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
