This Lomax 223 (meaning 2 seats, 2 cylinders, 3 wheels) is originally an English kit based on a 1978 Citroën 2CV. The car takes the chassis converted to 3 wheels and a lot of mechanical parts from the 2CV. The current owner has owned it for 1 year. This Lomax has 40.000km, a mileage estimated by the seller.
On the outside, this Lomax is in excellent condition. The car has received a military style paint and decoration completed by the addition of riveted plates. The polyester body shows no deformation and the chassis no corrosion. Windows and headlights are in excellent condition.
Inside, the two bucket seats are in new condition. The colored carpets are in good condition. The on-board instrumentation is said to work properly.
The car is equipped with the 602cc twin cylinder of the Citroën 2CV 6 and developed 29hp when it left the factory. The engine is said to work perfectly, starting well when cold or hot with a smooth and linear revving. The 4 speed manual gearbox works normally.
The car is equipped with its 4 original wheels (including 1 spare wheel) with tires in good condition. The car runs and brakes normally.
This Lomax is currently registered in Belgium as an Ancestor and will require a collection registration card for registration in France. The seller is a private individual located in Belgium at Ohain 1380 (South of Brussels) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
