This 1996 Alfa Romeo 155 STW factory car competed in the German Touring Car Championship (Super Tourenwagen Cup) with Franz Engstler in 1996 and 1997 in the Alfa Team Engstler in 1996 and Cool Fire Team Engstler in 1997. The car then participated in the Alfa Romeo Challenge in the Netherlands from 2002 to 2004. The owner has owned the car since 2005 and indicates that the car has participated in three Alfa Romeo Challenge races in 2010 at Spa Francorchamps, Zolder and Zandvoort. The seller indicates that the car has recently undergone a complete restoration including a D2 engine rebuild.
On the outside, the car is in very good condition. The paint in its Alfa Corse red replica of Nicola Larini's 155 V6 TI DTM champion in 1994 has only very few visible defects in the gallery. The 2.0-liter D2 4-cylinder developed by Alfa Corse and built by Abarth developed 310 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the engine was recently renovated by App Racing Engines.
The car has 4 Speedline rims in very good condition with Michelin semi-slick tires in good condition. The car brakes normally. The seller does not report any play in the running gear.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% (3.6% VAT excluded) of the final price by credit card (minimum 180€ VAT included).
Within the following 7 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer to an escrow account hosted by Paycar.fr.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer you an optional delivery service. You can easily estimate the delivery cost by using the "Delivery" function available on the ad.
No Surprises Guarantee
You are able to cancel the transaction and Benzin agrees to refund a portion of the service fee if the vehicle has a major defect not reported in the receiving advertisement under the No Surprise Guarantee. See Conditions.
