Before becoming a rally icon, the Lancer was… a rally icon. Mitsubishi’s success actually dates back to the 1970s with the Lancer 1600 GSR, winner of the 1974 Safari Rally. At the time, the production saloon had a charming appearance and performance to match. This rare European example, preserved in a dealership showroom for many years, is looking for a new owner to take to the roads and bear witness to a bygone era.
This 1974 Mitsubishi Lancer A72, originally from Belgium, has 45,000 km on the clock. The seller states that the vehicle is in very good overall condition.
