This 1985 Yamaha TY 250 S type 59N of French origin is one of the 2501 produced in "monodamper".
Aesthetically, this TY looks good despite some use marks. The white paint on the frame is gone at the feet, and paint chips are visible at various places. The decorative stickers on the tank are missing. The seat is in very good condition, and the fairing plastics are not broken.
The mechanics are original and described as working perfectly and tight. The 2-stroke 250cc air-cooled engine developed 15hp when it left the factory. It is mated to a 6 speed gearbox, the first 4 having a short ratio for the crossing. The exhaust silencer is the only part that differs from the original.
The studded tires are in good condition as are the spoked rims, which show no deformation. The brakes work well and the suspensions do their job properly.
The seller is a professional located in Méru (60110) and accepts visits. The latter wished to define a reserve price.
