This 1986 Honda Prelude 2G 1.8 is a third-hand American import, ordered new by a Frenchman who brought it back upon his return. The car shows 99,900 miles (about 160,000 km). The car has a French registration document and a valid technical inspection.

Outside, this Prelude is in very good condition. The blue paint has been redone in the past and looks good despite some visible defects in the gallery, particularly on the hood. The seller indicates that the car shows no corrosion except for a few spots in the photo. Photos of the underbody are available in the gallery.

Inside, the car is in very good condition. The fabric upholstery shows only a few signs of use. The plastics and interior trims are in very good condition, without deformation or discoloration. This model is equipped with a sunroof, headlight washers, air conditioning, and a 4-speaker audio system with a cassette player, although the latter works intermittently.

The mechanics are said to be in excellent condition. The 4-cylinder 1.8 developed 105 hp at its factory release. The last service was performed without an invoice less than a year ago by the second owner, a Renault agent. The 5-speed manual gearbox is said to work perfectly.

The car has its 4 steel rims with hubcaps in good condition fitted with tires in good condition (changed less than 2500 km ago in 2010). The brake pads and discs were replaced less than 2500 km ago. The braking is said to function normally and the car does not emit any abnormal noise. The seller wishes to indicate that oil traces are visible on the steering bellows and on the front shock absorbers.

The seller is a private individual located in France in Lyon (69004) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its spare key. The last technical inspection was in May 2019 and will not be redone for the sale.

A credit card is required to bid although nothing is charged at the moment. Bids immediately rise to the specified amount.

Bidding commits you. We do not accept any withdrawal of bids. Any retraction is subject to a fee of 6% including VAT of the bid amount with a minimum of €300 including VAT.

Vehicle visits

Buyers have the option to see the vehicle throughout the duration of the sale, contact us to make an appointment.

Payment

At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% including VAT of the final price by credit card (minimum €179 including VAT).

Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer. Payment is secured by our partner Paycar.

Delivery

In the absence of contrary indication, the buyer is required to pick up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin can offer you an optional delivery service, contact us (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
