This Volkswagen Passat W8 from 2003 is a 4th hand of French origin and has 206.800 km. The seller indicates that this car has an automatic gearbox defect: the needle bearing of the primary shaft is out of order. The car can nevertheless be driven away by road.
On the outside, this Passat W8 is in good condition. The white paint looks good and shows no major defects. The car does not show any corrosion. The seals and exterior plastics are in good condition except for the left front mirror showing a break.
The interior is in very good condition. The original leather upholstery is in good condition, the driver's seat showing some wear ribs. The interior plastics are in good condition, showing only a patina of use on some controls. The instrumentation and interior equipment, including the air conditioning and heated seats, are said to function normally with the exception of the electrochromatic rearview mirror. The seller indicates that the automatic gearbox has been diagnosed as defective by the VW Fair Play Paris 16 dealership. The failure is caused by a defective or broken primary shaft needle bearing.
The shaft is no longer correctly supported by its bearing, it has play and causes jerks, downshifts in 2nd and 1st can be brutal. This does not prevent the car from running but it causes premature wear of the BVA, and a degraded comfort.
The car has its 4 original aluminum rims in average condition, without deformation but showing paint defects due to age, with new tires with 5000 km. The car is said to run and brake perfectly without making any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Saint Denis (93) and accepts visits during the sale.
The car is sold without reserve price.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% (3.6% VAT excluded) of the final price by credit card (minimum 180€ VAT included).
Within 7 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by the third party service Paycar.fr.
Delivery
