This January 1960 Nash Metropolitan is of American origin. The car shows 61,180 miles although this mileage cannot be verified. The seller has owned it since December 2018, acquired at the Auto Show. He indicates that the car is in very good overall condition and has a French collector's registration. A favorable technical inspection will be passed for the sale.
On the outside the car is in very good condition. The paint in its red and white color has been redone in the past and has only few visible defects in the gallery. The exterior plastics and seals are in good condition, as are the headlights. The seller indicates that the chassis of this Nash is sound.
The interior is in very good condition. The black cloth and simili upholstery and matching trim are in very good condition with no tears or holes. The steering wheel and dashboard are in very good condition. The on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment are in normal working order except for the gas meter and gauge (possibly not plugged in).
The original engine has been replaced by a 1.6 liter Nissan 4 cylinder with a 5 speed gearbox. The engine and the gearbox are working normally.
The car has its 4 original steel rims with chrome hubcaps in good condition with tires in good condition. The car is said to run and brake perfectly.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Livry Gargan (93) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its French collection registration and a favorable technical control will be passed for the sale.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, all the offers made remain valid for 2 working days and can be accepted at any time during this period.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bids. Any retraction is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid, including VAT. with a minimum of 329€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 7 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
