This 1990 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Karmann 1.8 90 has 103,360km, a fair estimated mileage vis a vis the available documentation and general condition. An expertise report made in May 2017 is available.

On the outside, this Karmann Golf is in very good condition. The alpine white paint has been redone a few years ago and looks very good without showing any major flaws. The bodywork shows no dents or corrosion. The manual vinyl top is in very good condition, showing no tears. The body joints and exterior plastics are in very good condition. The headlights are also in very good condition.

The interior is in very good condition. The original cloth upholstery is in good condition, showing only wear marks on the driver's seat including a small hole in the side seat reinforcement. Wear is also visible on the back of the passenger seat. The interior plastics and trim are in very good condition, with no discoloration or deformation, although the liner on the glove box does show some peeling bubbles. The seller states that the carpets are new. The interior equipment is said to work perfectly.

The mechanics are in very good condition. The 4 cylinder 1.8 developed 90hp when it left the factory. The distribution is recent (less than 10.000km) as well as the revision. The engine starts well when hot or cold and the revs are smooth and straightforward. The 5 speed manual transmission works very well, shifting and locking well in all gears.

The car has its original 4 rims redone in 2017, shod with 4 tires showing little wear although quite old (dot 2011). The brakes are described as working perfectly and the linings are good.

The seller is located in France in Clamart (92) and accepts visits during the sale. The car has its normal French registration.

How the auctions work

A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.

Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.

Visits of the vehicle

Payment

At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).

Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer can agree to use another payment method.

Delivery

Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
