This 1992 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet 1.6 has undergone a major refurbishment including a new paint job, a thorough engine overhaul and a complete overhaul of the running gear. Numerous invoices for the work are available and total about 5.000€ excluding paint. The car has 167.000km although this mileage cannot be verified. The car has a clean technical control less than 6 months old.
On the outside, this Golf Cab is in excellent condition. The paint in the original color is new and therefore has no defects. The bodywork shows no dents and is free of corrosion. The exterior plastics and the headlights are in excellent condition. The soft top is in very good condition, functional and waterproof. The simili hood cover is in excellent condition.
The interior is in very good condition. The fabric and imitation upholstery shows no snags or marked wear. Plastics and interior trim are in very good condition, with no noticeable deformation. A few dents are to be noted on the roof liner (see gallery). The instrumentation and interior equipment are said to function normally.
The mechanics are in very good condition. The 4 cylinders 1.6 carburetor developed 75hp when it left the factory. The engine has been thoroughly overhauled including the replacement of the connecting rod bearings, the head gasket, all the hoses, the starter motor as well as a rebuild of the carburetor and the ignition. The 5-speed manual gearbox is said to work perfectly.
The car has 4 Ronal aluminum rims with new Toyo tires. The front and rear brake discs and pads are new. The 4 shocks are new. The steering rack is new. The car is said to run and brake perfectly, without making any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Toulon (83000) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, in case the reserve price is not reached, the seller has 48 hours to select a bid among the bidders.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle
Buyers have the opportunity to view the vehicle during the entire sale, nous contacter to make an appointment.
Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
No Surprises Guarantee
Benzin is able to cancel the transaction and reimburse you the selling expenses (with a fixed deduction of 100€ TTC) if the vehicle presents a major anomaly not reported in the delivery ad. See Conditions.
