This 1985 Volkswagen Golf 2 GTI was acquired a year ago by the current owner. The car is supposed to be of French origin and has 287.000km although this mileage cannot be verified. The car is equipped with a Golf GTI 3 engine with about 100.000 km.
On the outside, this Golf 2 GTI is in excellent condition. The paint, redone in the past, looks very good and shows no major defects. The bodywork shows no dents or deformations with very satisfactory alignments, and the owner indicates that there is no corrosion to report. The bumpers, plastics and exterior seals are in excellent condition with no cracks or discoloration. The headlights are in very good condition.
The interior is in very good condition. The fabric upholstery shows no marked snags or sagging. The carpets and interior trim are in very good condition. The interior plastics and controls show no marked wear. The on-board instrumentation and equipment are said to function normally. The car is equipped with electric windows.
The mechanics of this Golf 2 GTI work perfectly. The car is equipped with a Golf 3 GTI 8S engine that developed 115hp when it left the factory. The owner says that the engine starts well both hot and cold and seems to have all its power. The oil change and timing were recently done (parts invoices available). The 5 speed manual transmission is said to work perfectly.
The car has 4 Ronal rims with BBS wheel centers and new Nexen tires. The front and rear brake hoses have been replaced, and the brake linings are good. The car drives and brakes perfectly, without any abnormal noise.
The car is sold with a very recent clean technical control (see gallery) and has a normal French registration. The seller is a private individual located in France in Toulon (83000) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
