This 1976 Ford Escort RS 2000 is a 3rd hand of Italian origin with 3,000 km. The car has had a full restoration in 2018 (see gallery). The seller states that the car is in excellent condition, has an ASI registration with CRS (Certificato di Rilevanza Storica) and will have a favorable Italian technical inspection ironed for sale. He also specifies that it is a real RS 2000 and not one of the many converted 1100s.
On the outside, this 2000 Ford Escort RS is in excellent condition. The body was completely redone in 2018 and painted in its original green hue. It shows no noticeable flaws today. The windows are in very good and original condition (marked FORD with production year). The exterior plastics and the headlights are in very good condition.
The interior is in excellent condition. The fabric and imitation upholstery has been redone according to the original and shows no signs of use. The plastics and interior trim are in very good condition, showing no cracks or discoloration. The instrumentation and interior equipment are said to function normally. During the restoration, the km counter has been set to zero and the thousands roll is not aligned.
The 4 cylinder 2.0l developed 110hp when it left the factory. Many mechanical parts have been reconditioned during the restoration but the engine has not been opened, it works very well. A custom stainless steel exhaust system has been installed. The seller indicates that the mechanics work perfectly as well as the 4 speed manual transmission.
The car is equipped with its 4 original rims in excellent condition, with new tires. The shocks have been replaced. The seller indicates that the car drives and brakes well, without making any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in Italy in Bari (Puglia) and accepts visits during the sale. The seller agrees to provide a favorable Italian CT less than 6 months old for the sale, export documents and a copy of the Italian vehicle registration document.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% (3.6% VAT excluded) of the final price by credit card (minimum 180€ VAT included).
Within the following 7 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer to an escrow account hosted by Paycar.fr.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer you an optional delivery service. You can easily estimate the delivery cost by using the "Delivery" function available on the ad.
No Surprises Guarantee
You are able to cancel the transaction and Benzin agrees to refund a portion of the service fee if the vehicle has a major defect not reported in the receiving advertisement under the No Surprise Guarantee. See Conditions.
