This Lotus Elise MMC S1 from February 1997 of Monegasque origin is a 4th hand car with 73.000 km. The current owner has owned it for 3 years. The rare MMC version was produced in less than 2000 units. This last one was distinguished by its specific "MMC" composite brakes (known for its exceptional bite and longevity), its specific rims, its aluminum trunk lid, the aluminum wheel hubs, and the "green glue" chassis specific to the first series.
On the outside the car is in very good condition. The original paint does not show any major defect. The plastics and exterior seals are in good condition, as well as the front and rear lights. The soft top is in good condition.
The interior is in very good condition. The upholstery has no tears or holes, only some traces of sagging on the driver's side. The steering wheel and dashboard are very well preserved and show no visible patina. The on-board instrumentation and equipment are working normally.
The 4-cylinder 1.8-liter "K-series Rover" developed 120 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work perfectly as well as the manual transmission. The distribution was done 3 years ago, while the fuel filter is 2 years old. The seller had the gearbox linkage replaced. On the modification side, a stainless steel intermediate has been installed, as well as a circuit breaker. The seller will perform an engine and gearbox oil change for the sale.
The car has its 4 original rims in very good condition with tires in good condition. The car brakes normally, the original MMC composite brake is present. The seller indicates that the rear tie rods are new.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Saint Gence (87) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a valid technical control which will be done for the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, all offers made remain valid for 10 days and can be accepted at any time during this period.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
No Surprises Guarantee
