This 1991 Lotus Elan M100 Turbo from France is a second hand car with 29.800 km, a mileage justified by the presence of some invoices and old technical controls. The seller has owned it for one year, the first owner having kept it for 28 years. The seller indicates that the car is in excellent condition, that it has a valid technical control and that it has had recent and regular maintenance. The Lotus Elan has been produced 3855 units of which 300 were left hand drive.
On the outside the car is in excellent condition. The original paint in its red color only shows some light scratches on the left rear bumper. The exterior plastics and seals are in excellent condition, as are the original headlights and windows. The seller indicates that this Elan is free of corrosion. The soft top is in excellent condition, tight and without any tears.
The interior is in excellent condition and fully original. The two-tone leather upholstery is in excellent condition, showing only a few wear ribs. The plastics and interior trim are in excellent condition, showing no deformation or discoloration. The on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment are functioning normally with the exception of the left window regulator button, and the seller states that the left window regulator motor operates erratically when tested with a functioning button.
The 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder developed 165 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work normally as well as the 5-speed manual transmission. In recent years, this Lotus Elan has benefited from the following charges:
- In 2011 at 28.500 km : replacement of spark plugs + pollution control
- In 2014 at 28,700 km: distri kit + water pump + accessory belts
- In 2017 at 28.900 km : change of stainless steel line, replacement of 2 front calipers + front and rear hoses
- In June 2020 at 29.700 km: oil, oil filter + air, repair of the engine, right and left headlight lift
The car has its 4 original rims in excellent condition with old tires at the front (dot 1996) and original Michelin MXX2 tires at the rear (dot 1990). The seller indicates that the rear tires have not been changed kept the original ones but that they have to be replaced for a safer driving. The car brakes normally and does not emit any abnormal noise while driving.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Landivisiau (29400) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its French registration, documentation, duplicate keys and remote control, as well as invoices and technical controls, the last of which is favorable and less than 6 months old.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 7 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
