This 1981 Citroën CX Athena from France has 129,000 km on the odometer, verifiable by the presence of all the maintenance invoices since it left the dealership. It is a third hand, although the first two owners were from the same family.
On the outside, this CX presents superbly. The original paint is in excellent condition with only a few rare flaws, visible in the gallery. The seller indicates that the car is rust free and has never been in an accident. The alignments are very satisfactory.
The interior of this CX is fully original and close to new. The upholstery is in exceptional condition. The plastics are in perfect condition, with no discoloration. The controls show no patina. The carpets, rugs and upholstery are in excellent condition. The headliner, although in good condition, has a stain (visible in video). The equipment as well as the on-board instrumentation are said to function properly.
The 2-liter engine made 106hp when it left the factory. The seller recently performed a timing and clutch replacement in 2016 (see invoice in the gallery). The engine is said to run perfectly, starting well both hot and cold, having a stable idle and seeming to have full power. The 5-speed manual transmission also works perfectly, shifting and locking well in all gears.
On the ground, the hydraulic suspension works perfectly, the spheres having been replaced in 2016 (see invoice in the gallery). The car has its 4 original rims in excellent condition. The brake linings are in good condition. The car is said to run perfectly, showing no abnormal behavior.
The seller is a professional located in France in Livry-Gargan (93) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a valid technical control and all its period documentation (brochures etc...).

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
