Presentation
This Beetle is a 1998 Mexican version, registered in France in 1973 for homologation reasons. It has 144.000km on the odometer, a mileage justifiable by its Volkswagen logbook.

On the outside, this Beetle presents superbly, and is globally original except for the front lights and the chrome footboard. The original paint is in excellent condition with no major defects. The seller indicates that the car is rust free, the fenders have been repainted and pictures of the car without them are visible in the gallery, showing the excellent condition of the wheel arches. The alignments are very satisfactory.

The interior of this Cox is typical of this Mexican version, taking many elements from the Golf. It is fully original and in excellent condition. The upholstery does not show any pronounced wear. The plastics are well preserved, with no discoloration. The controls show only a very slight patina. The equipment as well as the on-board instrumentation are said to function properly.

The 1600cc tappet engine is said to work perfectly, starting well both hot and cold, having a stable idle and seeming to have all its power. The 4 speed manual transmission also works perfectly, shifting and locking well in all gears.

On the ground, the car has 4 Porsche rims in good condition, with one missing cover. The brake linings are in good condition. The car is said to run perfectly, showing no abnormal behavior.

The seller is a professional located in France in Livry-Gargan (93) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with a valid technical control.
