This 2001 Mercedes CLK 55 AMG is a 4th hand from Monaco. The car has been fully serviced by Mercedes, with full invoices. It now boasts 116,000km, a mileage justified by the available documentation.
Externally, this CLK is in very good condition. The original grey paintwork shows very well and the bodywork shows no dents. The only damage is a few scratches on the right rear fender, a slight dent and a crack in the rocker panel. The headlights and body joints are in excellent condition. The car has never been in an accident and the alignments are very good.
The interior is in excellent condition. The black leather upholstery shows no tears or sagging. Plastics and trim are in excellent condition, as are the carpets. Controls show no marked patina. On-board equipment and instrumentation are said to function normally, notably the air-conditioning. The car is fitted with its original GPS radio.
The mechanics are said to be in excellent condition. The car has been regularly serviced by the Mercedes network throughout its life. The 5.4l V8 developed 347hp when it left the factory. The engine starts well both hot and cold, with a stable idle, and seems to have all the power it needs. The 5-speed automatic transmission also works perfectly, shifting gears without clutching.
The car is fitted with its original AMG wheels in good condition, showing some scratches but no deformation. The rear tires are 80% new (DOT 2016) while the front tires are 60% new (DOT 2015). The brakes work very well and the upholstery is good.
The car is sold with a very recent clean MOT (see gallery). The seller is a private individual located in France in Toulon (83200) and accepts visits during the sale.

How auctions work
A credit card is required for bidding, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids rise immediately to the amount entered.
Bidding commits you. We do not accept any bid withdrawals. Any withdrawal is subject to a fee of 6% (incl. VAT) of the amount bid, with a minimum of €300 (incl. VAT).
Vehicle inspections

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% incl. VAT of the final price by credit card (minimum €150 incl. VAT).
Within 15 days : The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. Secure payment by Paycar is free of charge for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is obliged to collect the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
No-surprise guarantee
