This 2005 Renault Clio RS Trophy is of English origin and has 55,000 miles (approx. 88,500km), a mileage justified by its up to date maintenance booklet. Only 500 examples of the RS Trophy were produced by Renault, this one being number 209. This version has improved running gear and specific equipment. The car was imported by its current owner who has owned it since 2016 and is registered in France.
On the outside, this Clio 2 RS is in excellent condition. The original red paint shows no major defects. The bodywork is in excellent condition, with no deformation or corrosion. Plastics and exterior seals are in very good condition, showing no discoloration. The windows and the headlights are in excellent condition.
The interior of this Clio is in excellent condition. The leather and alcantara upholstery shows no tears or holes. The owner has installed a bolt-on roll bar and harnesses but says he has all the original parts including the back seat. The controls are in good condition showing only a slight patina. The interior plastics and trim are in very good condition. The instrumentation as well as the interior equipment, notably the air conditioning, are said to function normally.
The mechanics are said to be in excellent condition. The 4 cylinder 2.0l 16v developed 182hp when it left the factory. A dyno sheet from August 2018 is visible in the gallery. The car has been regularly serviced in the Renault network and by specialists, with the last service in August 2019. The clutch, connecting rod bearings and ignition were replaced in 2017 at 50,600miles. The service history and recent invoices can be seen in the gallery. The car is equipped with a Milltek exhaust muffler.
The car has its 4 original "Turini" aluminum rims in very good condition shod with semi-slicks tires in very good condition (changed in 2018 at the rear and in 2019 at the front) and 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires in good condition will be provided with. The brakes work perfectly, with the discs, front and rear pads and hoses having been replaced in 2017. The car is said to run perfectly without making any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Rennes (35000) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its French papers in order and a clean technical control less than 6 months old.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, in case the reserve price is not reached, the seller has 48 hours to select a bid among the bidders.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sale price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
No Surprises Guarantee
