This 1979 BMW 728 e23 is a 4th hand from France and has 254,000 km. The current owner has owned it for 1 year and has made many expenses. The car has a favourable technical control and will be passed for sale.
Outside, this BMW 728 e23 is in good condition. The paint shows well but shows some flaws like cracks or corrosion bubbles in some places (see gallery). The body is in good condition and shows no visible perforating corrosion. Plastics and exterior seals are in very good condition. The windows and the headlights are in very good condition.
The interior is in good condition. The fabric upholstery is in good condition except for the driver's seat, which is damaged at the side reinforcements. The controls are in good condition. The carpets and interior trim are in very good condition although some plastics have cracks. The car is equipped with the optional air conditioning, not functional but the owner indicates that the compressor works. The car also has centralization, power windows and power steering. The seller says that a window can work randomly and the centralization fuse can blow.
The mechanics are said to be in good condition. The 6 cylinder 2.8l engine developed 174hp when it left the factory. The engine has been recently overhauled, including timing, oil change and change of filters and plugs. The carburetor and ignition were professionally overhauled 7 months ago. The engine starts well both hot and cold and seems to have full power. The 4 speed manual transmission is said to work perfectly. The clutch is new, changed by the previous owner.
The car is equipped with 4 tole wheels in good condition. The braking system has been completely refurbished, including the change or restoration of the master cylinder, hoses, calipers and linings. The car is said to run without any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Rennes (35000) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, all the offers made remain valid for 10 days and can be accepted at any time during this period.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 329€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
