This 1988 Yamaha 600 XT 2KF is of French origin and has 59,150 km. A mileage that seems right, but cannot be verified. Regarding the ownership history, the seller indicates that there have been three owners: the first owner was in the support team for rally-raids in Africa in the 90's with this bike, while the second and the current owner used it for rides.
Aesthetically, this 600 XT looks good. The blue color of the frame has a nice patina and some light scratches due to its use as a touring bike. The seller indicates that the bike has some rust on the pot and the frame. A top case will be offered with the bike.
The 595cc single-cylinder 4T engine developed 43hp when it left the factory. The mechanics are described as working perfectly and tight. The only modification is a stainless steel manifold. The intake pipes and the turn signal unit are new. The seller indicates that the carburettors have been overhauled, and that the fuel tank has been checked and is rust free. An extra muffler is given for sale.
On the chassis side, the fork oil has just been replaced and the shock absorber reconditioned. On the braking side, the front disc is new and the rear one is in very good condition. The brake fluid is new. The rims do not show any deformation. The brakes are working properly and the suspensions are doing their job correctly.
The seller is a private individual located in Lyon (69) and accepts visits. The latter wished to define a reserve price.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner will be automatically charged a service fee of 3% (incl. VAT) of the final price by credit card (minimum €100 incl. VAT).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
