This Peugeot 604 V6 of French origin is dated September 1st 1975, day of the official release of the 604 model. It was the demonstration vehicle of the Peugeot dealership in Montluçon, and the second owner was a transport entrepreneur who used it until 2000 for his vacation trips. It was stored in a dry place since then and was taken out this month by the current seller. The odometer shows 104.306 km, a mileage estimated by the seller but which cannot be verified.
On the outside, this 604 is in average condition. The original paint shows several defects such as chips, scratches and corrosion bubbles. The bodywork is in average condition, showing significant deformation at the front left fender and corrosion spots, including the door sills, front left headlight, sunroof, windshield bay and rear right fender. The seller states that the floors and chassis are in good condition with no corrosion. The front headlights are in good condition, while the right rear one is cracked. This 604 is equipped with the 4 electric windows and the functional electric sunroof.
The interior is in good condition. The seats are in good condition with no tears or holes. The center console and dashboard are in average condition. The metal parts are pitted in places and the shifter boot is torn.
The 2.6l V6 developed 136hp when it left the factory. The engine has to be restarted, but is not blocked (see video). The exhaust line and the ignition are new. The 4 speed manual gearbox is said to work normally.
This 604 has its 4 original rims in good condition, as well as an extra set visible in the gallery.
The car is to be restored. The seller is located in France in La Chapelle en Serval (60) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included) by credit card.
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
