This 1980 BMW 525 e12 is a French 3rd hand, bought new in Clichy. The car has 109.800 km. The car has a normal French registration and a valid technical control.
On the outside, this BMW e12 is in good condition. The original paint shows well but shows some visible flaws in the gallery. The bodywork is in good condition, showing no major deformation but some superficial corrosion. The headlights and windows are in very good condition, as well as the chromes.
The interior is in very good condition. The blue velvet upholstery is in good condition, only the driver's seat showing a tear and some wear marks. The carpets and interior trim are in good condition. The seller indicates that the instrumentation and interior equipment are working properly, including the power windows.
The mechanics are said to be in very good condition. The 2.5l inline 6-cylinder engine developed 150hp when it left the factory. The engine has benefited from a lot of work between 2012 and 2015, including a carburetion overhaul, a valve clearance adjustment, a tank change, a cooling system renovation and the installation of a new exhaust. The seller says the engine works perfectly as does the rare optional 5-speed manual transmission. The clutch control has been reconditioned.
The car has its 4 optional Mahle rims in very good condition with Vredestein tires in very good condition (dot 2017). The 4 original sheet metal rims are provided with their chrome rims. The 4 shocks are recent and the brakes have been reconditioned. The steering rods are new. The car is said to run and brake perfectly, without any abnormal noise although the seller indicates that a slight vibration is felt between 60 and 80km/h.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Vichy (03200) and accepts visits during the sale.

How the auctions work

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
