This 1968 Fiat 500 Gamine Vignale of Italian origin has 61,800 km. The "Gamine" is a creation of the designer and coachbuilder Alfredo Vignale based on a Fiat 500. This model is known to have caused financial problems that will lead Alfredo Vignale to sell his company to De Tomaso. Less than 400 examples would have been produced over 3 years. This example is part of a large Italian private collection and is offered for sale following the death of its owner. The car is located in Verona, Italy, but transportation throughout Europe can be arranged at extra cost.
On the outside the car is in excellent condition. The paint in its original red color is in very good condition and shows only few defects. The bodywork is in excellent condition, without any deformation or corrosion. The headlights, chromes and windows are in excellent condition. The black vinyl top is in new condition. A red canvas cover is provided.
The interior is in excellent condition. The black imitation upholstery has no tears or holes, only a slight mark is visible on the driver seat. The interior trim, especially the rubber floor covering, is in very good condition. The on-board instrumentation and the electrical equipment are working normally. The car is equipped with a cassette radio.
The 500 Gamine Vignale was equipped with a single engine, a 500cc twin-cylinder Fiat 500 Sport that developed 21.5hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work perfectly. The car is serviced annually by the mechanic who deals exclusively with the collection. The 4 speed manual gearbox works normally.
The car has 4 aluminium rims from a Fiat 500 in good condition with old tires. The car drives and brakes normally, without any abnormal noise.

A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, all offers made remain valid for 10 days and can be accepted at any time during this period.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.

Delivery
