This 1990 Renault 5 EBS is a second hand car of Greek origin with 102.000km, a mileage estimated by the seller. The car has been completely transformed into a GT Turbo by the first owner using only original Renault parts. The current owner has owned it since 1999 and is located in Greece, in Athens.
On the outside, this Renault 5 EBS is in very good condition. The car has been repainted 3 years ago and shows only a few minor defects visible in the gallery. The exterior plastics and seals are in very good condition. The car shows traces of corrosion in different places as shown in the pictures of the underbody in the gallery. The original EBS soft top is in very good condition and is said to be waterproof. The soft top cover is available.
The interior is in very good condition. The imitation upholstery has been redone and shows no noticeable signs of use. The interior plastics are in very good condition, especially the dashboard. The door panels are in very good condition. All electrical equipment is said to be functional, including the power windows. The car is equipped with a modern audio system.
The mechanics are said to be in excellent condition. The 1.4l turbo 4 cylinder developed 120hp when it left the factory. Many modifications have been made while keeping the original power. The original radiator has been replaced by a more powerful one and a separate oil cooler has been installed. The hoses have been replaced by Samco hoses. The carburetor has been overhauled. The 5 speed gearbox is said to work perfectly.
The car is equipped with 4 custom Borbet rims fitted with used tires. The front brake calipers come from a Clio Williams while the rear calipers are original. The brake assist unit has been replaced. The car is said to run and brake perfectly, without making any abnormal noise.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
The highest bid is automatically selected. However, all offers made remain valid for 10 days and can be accepted at any time during this period.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 10 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
No Surprises Guarantee
Benzin is able to cancel the transaction and refund a portion of the sale fee if the vehicle has a major defect not reported in the delivery ad. See Conditions.
