This 1982 Peugeot 505 SR is a first hand car out of the barn, immobilized since 1998. It is now for sale following the death of the owner. The car registration and documents are currently being searched. The deceased owner was a former Peugeot engineer who owned several vehicles of the brand. The car has 94.000 km, a mileage that seems to be correct considering the condition of the vehicle but that cannot be verified.
Externally, this Peugeot 505 SR is in poor condition. The original paint is tarnished on the whole body. The bodywork does not show any major deformation but shows perforating corrosion especially on the windshield bay, the hood, the doors and the rear fenders. All exterior accessories are present and the car is sold with its period roof bars.
Inside, this 505 is in good condition. The cloth upholstery is in good condition, showing only a few wear marks. The door panels are in good condition, as well as the interior plastics. The roof liner is in average condition showing signs of peeling and traces of moisture. The sunroof cover is missing. The car is equipped with electric windows and a vintage car radio.
On the mechanical side, the seller declares that the engine is not blocked, running on the starter. This 4 cylinders 2.0l developed 108hp when it left the factory. The manual gearbox is supposed to work normally, but this can't be verified.
The car is equipped with its period rims in correct condition, as well as its period tires.
The seller is a professional located in France at La Chapelle-en-Serval (60520) and accepts visits during the sale.
The car is sold without reserve price.

How the auctions work
A credit card is required to bid, although nothing is charged at the time. Bids are immediately raised to the amount entered.
Bidding is binding. We do not accept any withdrawal of bidding. Any withdrawal is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€ TTC.
Visits of the vehicle

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter.
