This 1998 Peugeot 406 Coupe V6 from France has 247,500 km. The seller indicates that the car is in good general condition, that it has a valid CT and that it has benefited from recent expenses. This 406 Coupé is one of the first produced and is in its 1996 world show color (louxor yellow).
On the outside the car is in good condition. The paint in its louxor yellow color has only a few defects visible in the gallery. The front bumper shows a slight break in the left optic (see gallery). The seller also notes a dent near the left side turn signal. The exterior plastics and seals are in good condition, as are the headlights. The seller indicates that this 406 is free of corrosion. He also states that the car is in its original configuration on the outside.
The interior is in good condition and fully original. The black leather upholstery (Hurricane) is in good condition but shows signs of use. A small hole in the driver's seat is to be noted. The seats do not fold down anymore because the cables that allow them to do so have broken. The headliner needs to be replaced. The steering wheel and the dashboard are in good condition. The on-board instrumentation and the electrical equipment are said to work normally. This 406 coupe has electric seats and air conditioning (functional).
The 3.0-liter V6 developed 194 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work normally as well as the 5-speed manual transmission. The engine is fully original. The seller indicates that the maintenance is up to date, the clutch works normally and the timing belt was replaced in 2016 at 226,000 kms. The video lets you hear a slight squeak, the seller states it is from the damper pulley which will be replaced for the sale.
The car has its 4 original rims in very good condition with tires in good condition (Uniroyal, 2016 / 20000 kms). The car brakes normally. The stabilizer bars have been replaced 1000 km ago.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Lyon (69) and accepts visits during the sale. The car will be sold with its registration, a favorable CT, invoices since 2015, its booklet and its Peugeot documentation.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.

How the auctions work

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.
Within 7 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).
