This 1988 Peugeot 405 MI16 is a 5th hand of French origin and has 197.000km, a mileage justified by several invoices and old technical controls. The current owner has owned it for a little less than 3 years. The car has been in storage for a long time and needs to be put back on the road.

Outside, this 405 MI16 is in good condition. The original grey paint is fine but shows some flaws like scratches. The bodywork shows no corrosion but some dents and dings. The headlights and windows are in good condition. The seller also provides a set of parts including mirrors, headlights and an original MI16 badge.

The interior is in good condition. The fabric upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes. The plastics and trim are in good condition although the controls are worn. The instrumentation and electrical equipment have not been tested but the seller indicates that they were working before the car was turned off.

The 1.9l 16 valves 4-cylinder developed 160hp when it left the factory. The engine starts with difficulty but runs. A general overhaul is to be expected. The 5 speed manual gearbox is said to work normally.

The car has its 4 original aluminum rims in average condition equipped with old tires.

The seller is a private individual located in France in Vaujours (93410) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its French registration in the name of the seller.

The car is sold without reserve price.

How the auctions work

A bank card is required to bid and a bank imprint is made for a guarantee amount not exceeding 6% of the amount bid with a minimum of 300€.

The bids rise immediately to the amount entered.

At the end of the sale, the highest bid is automatically validated if it exceeds the reserve price. However, all the offers made remain valid for 2 working days after the end of the sale and can be accepted at any time during this period.

Bidding commits you. By bidding, you understand that the Benzin service runs immediately and that you therefore expressly waive your right of withdrawal. We do not accept any withdrawal of bids. Any retraction is sanctioned by a fee of 6% of the amount bid, including VAT. with a minimum of 329€ TTC.

Payment

At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum €179 incl. VAT) by credit card.

Within 7 days: The winner must pay the sales price by bank transfer. The payment is secured by our partner Paycar.

Delivery

Unless otherwise specified, the buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the seller. Benzin is able to offer an optional delivery service, nous contacter (specify the vehicle you are interested in and your location).

No Surprises Guarantee

Benzin is able to cancel the transaction and refund a portion of the sale fee if the vehicle has a major defect not reported in the ad upon receipt. See Conditions.
