This Peugeot 403 dates from January 1963 and is of French origin. It has 83.000km, a mileage that seems right but cannot be verified.
On the outside, this 403 looks very good thanks to a body free of dents and an old but well preserved paint. The main points of corrosion are located on the lower rear window posts. The roof has been equipped to receive a roof rack. The seller indicates to provide rear fender covers, original Peugeot accessory of the period.
The interior is in excellent condition. The upholstery shows no tears or snags or sagging. The door panels are also in superb condition. The floor carpets are missing, the floors have been covered with insulation. The floors are free of rust. The roof canopy is also very well preserved.
The original engine, a 1.4L inline 4-cylinder, developed 58hp when it left the factory. This engine seems to have all its power, with a stable idle when hot and cold. The ignition is new, as well as the water pump and the radiator. The carburetors have also been replaced. The 4 speed gearbox locks all its gears correctly. The seller also indicates that the fuel tank has been treated.
On the ground, this 403 has kept its original rims and hubcaps in good condition, with original tires. The braking system has been completely revised including the hoses.
The seller is a professional located in France, in Livry-Gargan (93) and accepts visits during the sale, sold with a valid technical control and a normal car registration.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).

Delivery
