This 1961 Porsche 356 B 1600 S (Super 90) is of European origin. The car is an abandoned restoration project by its last owner now deceased. The car has not been driven for about 40 years. The car is complete except for the 2 seats, the windshield, the speedometer and rev counter and the keys. This Porsche is "matching number" (engine, transmission and body numbers) and has a French registration.

The bodywork of this 356 is in average condition. Some repair works have been started, especially on the left lower body. The body shows perforating corrosion on the right rocker panel and the front trunk floor. The sheet metal has been covered with fiberglass in the past (especially the floors), probably to stiffen the body.

The interior needs to be completely redone. The 2 seats, the speedometer, the rev counter and some keys are missing.

The 1600cc 4 cylinder flathead developed 90hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the engine is complete and is the original engine. The original manual gearbox is provided, along with all transmission components.

The car has its 4 original steel rims with hubcaps. The parts of the running gear (ball joints and rods) have been previously renovated.

The seller is located in France at La Chapelle-en-Serval and accepts visits during the sale.
The seller wished to define a reserve price.
