This 1988 BMW 320i e30 convertible is of Swiss origin and has 180,500km, a mileage justified over the last years by technical inspection reports. The car was imported to Poland by a relative of the seller in 2015 before the seller bought it back from him. The seller states that the car is in very good condition and that it has been serviced only 2 months ago.
Outside, this e30 is in excellent condition. The paint in its original "royalblau" color is in very good condition, showing only 2 small scratches on the right side. The bodywork is in very good condition, showing only two slight dents on the trunk lid and the right front fender. The seller indicates that the car is free of corrosion and pictures of the underbody are visible in the gallery. The soft top is in very good condition, tight and functional. The vinyl lining of the soft top cover has some bubbles.
The interior of this 320i is in excellent condition. The cloth upholstery is in very good condition, with only the driver's seat showing two holes in the lumbar area. The plastics and interior trim are in excellent condition, showing no marked patina. The car is equipped with power windows, power mirrors and central locking. The electrical equipment and instrumentation are said to function normally except for the central locking system.
The 2.0 inline 6 cylinder engine was rated at 129hp when it left the factory. The engine has recently undergone a major overhaul including: replacement of the timing belt, water pump and calorostat, replacement of various gaskets, changing all fluids and filters. The engine starts well both hot and cold, has a stable idle and seems to have full power. The 5-speed manual transmission also works perfectly.
The car is equipped with 4 original 15" BBS rims with tires in good condition. The brake pads have been replaced during the last service. The car is said to run perfectly, without any abnormal noise.
The seller is a private individual located in Zamosc, Poland and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its Polish papers in order in the name of the seller and a favorable Polish technical control passed on June 16, 2020.
