This 1981 BMW 320/6 was acquired by the current owner last May with the objective to restore it. The latter wishes to part with it due to lack of time. The car has 220.000km and has benefited from a very recent mechanical restoration and its engine is running. The car is sold with a lot of parts (see gallery).

From the outside, this 320/6 is in average condition. Although complete, the bodywork shows dents and rust spots. Some rust is present on the rear wheel arches (left and right) which have been sealed by the previous owner (see gallery). The driver's floor is also very damaged at the jack location. However, the seller indicates that the side rails and the windshield bay are not affected. The right front fender has been changed, explaining the color difference. The hood has been sanded and primed on the front right corner.

The interior is also in average condition. The upholstery is very damaged on the driver's seat, while it is in good condition on the passenger seat. The rear seat has been changed and is in very good condition. Mushrooms are visible on the door panels and other interior elements, which are otherwise in good condition. The on-board instrumentation and equipment are said to be working properly.

The mechanics are in very good condition. The 6 cylinders 2.0l carburetor developed 122hp when it left the factory. The top engine has been rebuilt (new cylinder head, valves and rocker arms, see pictures) less than 300km ago. The seller says that the engine works very well and a video shows the engine running. The car has been immobilized for a few days because of a clutch control problem, but the seller specifies that the car was running well before that.

The car has its 4 original rims in average condition but not warped. The brakes are said to work properly.

The seller is a private individual located in France in Rueil Malmaison (92500) and accepts visits during the sale (on weekdays before 19:30).
The car is sold without reserve price.
