This 1978 BMW 320/6 coupe of French origin is a 3rd hand car with 146.000 km. The seller indicates that the car is in very good general condition, that the Technical Control will be done for the sale and that it has recently been serviced. He specifies that the chassis number corresponds to the engine serial number.
Outside the car is in good condition. The original paint in its grey color is still in good condition even if there are some scratches and chips (see gallery). The seller indicates that this 320 is free of rust except for the right rear fender which shows a slight trace of non-piercing rust. The exterior plastics and seals are in good condition, as are the front and rear lights. He also states that the car is completely original on the outside.
The interior is in very good condition and completely original. The fabric upholstery has no tears or holes. The steering wheel and the dashboard are very well preserved and show no visible patina. The on-board instrumentation as well as the electrical equipment are working normally. This BMW is equipped with its original car radio.
The 2-liter carbureted 6-cylinder developed 122 hp when it left the factory. The seller indicates that the mechanics work perfectly as well as the 4 speed manual transmission. The engine is original except for the Solex carburetor which has been replaced by an equivalent model from Pierburg. The seller also states that the car has been serviced recently and the following items have been changed: spark plugs, all filters, delco, exhaust silencer and accessory belt. Two years ago, the head gasket and valve stem gaskets were changed and the radiator was renovated. It has also undergone an engine, gearbox and axle oil change and the wiring harness was recently checked by a professional.
The car has its 4 original sheet metal rims in good condition with new tires. The car brakes correctly. The brake pads and discs have just been replaced.
The seller is a private individual located in France in Amiens (80) and accepts visits during the sale. The car is sold with its BMW service book stamped until 2011 at 135,000 km, its original documentation and a former technical control blank of a little over 6 months. A new MOT will still be passed for the sale.

How the auctions work

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).
Within 15 days: The winner must pay the sales price to the seller. The secure payment by Paycar is free for Benzin buyers. Seller and buyer may agree to use another payment method.
Delivery
