This BMW 318ia was fully restored in 2017 by the current owner. It is a third hand, the previous owner having kept it 1 year, while the original buyer would have kept it 32 years. It currently has 73,818km, mileage that the seller estimates to be fair.
On the outside, this German coupe looks great thanks to its recent paint job, done last year (photo file available). Except for the 15" Fondemetal wheels and the short springs, the car is entirely in its original configuration (original sheet metal wheels and springs are provided). All chrome and plastics have been refurbished, as well as the hood/tallion logos. The body is rust free.
Opening the door reveals a blue interior, providing a nice contrast to the exterior. The seats and headliner are in good condition with no tears or holes. The carpets, rugs and door panel coverings are as original and in good condition. The rear deck has been redone. The on-board instrumentation is said to function normally. However, the owner indicates a false contact of the handbrake light. This e21 is equipped with a working electric single rear view mirror. The only interior modification is a modern car radio. In the rear, the trunk reveals new carpeting, and the original toolbox.
On the mechanical side, the owner says the engine was fully serviced in August 2017. The latter therefore leaves with a new head gasket (cylinder head rectified on occasion), a fully revised cooling (new hoses, calorstat and water pump in addition to a radiator cleaning). Filters (oil, air, gasoline), spark plugs, and accessory belt have been replaced. The seller also indicates that the exhaust silencer is new. The engine runs perfectly, with a stable idle and a nice linearity in acceleration and acceleration. The 3 speed automatic transmission works normally.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included) by credit card.

Delivery
