This 1992 BMW 318i e30 Convertible was acquired in May 2017 by the current owner. The latter has driven approximately 5,000km on it. The car shows 147,000km, a mileage that the seller estimates to be fair.
On the outside, this BMW 318i is in good condition. The original Laguna Green (lagunengrün metallic) paintwork is in good condition and shows few defects apart from the marks of use and time. The bodywork is in very good condition, showing only a slight dent at the fuel door. No corrosion is present, except for a slight surface around the battery tray (see pictures). Pictures of the underbody are available in the gallery. The electric soft top is in bad condition, showing advanced wear. The owner indicates that the mechanism has recently stopped working and will need to be checked. The exterior plastics are in fairly good condition, with the bumpers showing the most numerous defects such as rub marks. The front lights are in average condition, functional but showing cracks in places and discoloration. The rear lights are in very good condition.
The interior is in very good condition. The original cloth upholstery is in good condition, showing no tears or pockmarked sagging. The interior plastics and trim are in very good condition with no cracks or discoloration. The on-board instrumentation is said to function normally. The car is equipped with power steering and electric mirrors.
The mechanics are in excellent condition. The 4 cylinder 1.8l developed 115hp when it left the factory. The seller, a mechanic by profession, indicates that he has replaced the timing belt, the spark plugs, the battery, the steering ball joints and has changed the oil. The engine starts well both hot and cold and seems to have full power. The 5-speed manual transmission also works normally.
The car has its original 4 rims with new tires. The brake pads were changed last year and the car has not been driven much since. The car runs and brakes perfectly without any abnormal noise.
The car has a normal registration in the name of the seller and a valid technical control of less than 6 months (the defect 5.3.3.a.1 having been corrected since). The seller is a private individual located in France in Paris (75014) and accepts visits during the sale.

Payment
At the end of the auction: The winner is automatically charged a service fee of 3% of the final price (minimum 150€ VAT included).

Delivery
